2024 Spirit of Volunteerism Honoree – Dr. Jacquelyn Moore

Why This Volunteer is Extraordinary:

Jacqui has been a volunteer mediator with Groundswell’s Dispute Resolution Program since 2022. Jacqui has quickly become one of our most active mediators, having given hundreds of hours to help the people of Orange County navigate their conflicts.

Jacqui is incredibly humble and calming, able to de-escalate even the most frustrated disputants. She also has a huge heart and genuinely cares about the well-being of the people in conflict whenever she mediates.

Not one to focus on resolution rates, Jacqui’s primary focus is helping the parties in conflict leave the mediation in a healthier place than they came in. She brings that same sense of caring to the other volunteers, making her an excellent mentor for our newer mediators.
