The Season of Giving (SOG) gives the community an opportunity to provide support or consideration for others during the holiday season. Nonprofits, companies, families, service clubs, etc., will come together to share the importance of giving.
About Season of Giving
The Season of Giving (SOG) is a time where we encourage community members to support their neighbors in need. This season, nonprofit organizations are looking to our community (you!) for volunteer, in-kind and monetary support to further the impact of their mission.

Season of Giving is all about promoting the needs and community opportunities of Nonprofit organizations. OneOC members are encouraged to post their projects and wish lists through January.
Examples of projects nonprofit members can organize:
- Beautification project for your facility
- Toolkits – Create guides on how to participate in a donation drive with supplies you need, adopt-a-family, canned goods, hygiene kits, letters to soldiers, etc.
- A project your organization already does– food packaging, cleaning books, beach clean ups, crafts with seniors, etc.
