OneOC’s Days of Service are four national volunteer days that unite individuals, families, service clubs, businesses, schools, and faith-based organizations in volunteerism throughout the year. OneOC connects nonprofits with volunteers to projects, helping increase nonprofits’ capacity to do more good in the community. Join us on our next signature event!

National Days of Service are your golden opportunity to showcase your mission and attract new volunteers. As an active OneOC Member, you gain exclusive access to HandsOn Connect software, a comprehensive volunteer management system designed to help you recruit, retain, and effectively manage volunteers.
We are thrilled to announce the relaunch of our Days of Service program, running annually from May to April. Partners joining this program are asked to submit volunteer opportunities for a minimum of three Days of Service. By becoming a partner in this program, nonprofits receive:
- Social Media Promotion: We’ll help promote your volunteer events on our social media channels, giving your opportunities wider visibility.
- Special Promotion to Corporate Partners: We’ll highlight your organization as a way for corporate partners to volunteer and support nonprofits in the community.
- Annual Recognition Ad: Enjoy an annual recognition ad in the OC Register, boosting your nonprofit’s visibility.
- Days of Service Partner Recognition: Your organization will be prominently featured on the OneOC website with a direct link to a webpage of your choice, whether it’s for volunteer sign-up or your organization’s website.
- Volunteer Opportunity Posting: Our dedicated OneOC staff will assist you by posting your volunteer opportunities on your behalf. It’s an easy and hassle-free process!
We kindly request that you share the number of volunteers engaged with your opportunities and the total hours they served. You can join this program at any time during the year, and there’s no cost involved for this extra visibility and promotion – it’s our way of showing appreciation for our valued OneOC members. OneOC Days of Sharing
Days of Sharing is a time where we encourage community members to support their neighbors in need by volunteering time and/or giving resources to local nonprofits. Nonprofits promote virtual, live & skills-based volunteer opportunities as well as organizational wish-lists throughout Orange County and surrounding communities during the holiday season.
MLK Day of Service
MLK Day is one of OneOC’s four National Days of Service throughout the year. It gives the community an opportunity to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through meaningful service. Individuals, families, groups, and organizations can easily participate in this national initiative!

Earth Day
Earth Day of Service is celebrated around the world. While projects may focus on preserving and beautifying Orange County’s environment, this is another opportunity for the community to take action and support our nonprofit partners. 9/11 Day of Service & Remembrance
The National 9/11 Day of Service & Remembrance (9/11 Day), is an opportunity to support and give tribute to those who were affected by this tragedy and is also the largest day of service in America, officially recognized under federal law.
