Why This Volunteer is Extraordinary:
Foster Love is a dynamic non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in foster care. We are intentional about our volunteer programs. Not everyone can become a foster parent, but anyone can help children in foster care. Our volunteers help with various daily operations at Foster Love, such as organizing clothing donations, coloring program boxes, repackaging items to ship, and more. This ensures that all kids receive their items when they need them most. Chris demonstrated outstanding teamwork skills during his time with us by collaborating with others to fulfill our organization’s mission. He actively participated in various initiatives, including assembling STEM, Superhero, and Birthday boxes, and assisting in organizing clothing and building skateboards. Chris consistently went above and beyond, taking on leadership responsibilities to guide and instruct other volunteers. He has a natural ability to inspire and motivate others. He approached each task with a genuine desire to make a difference, consistently displaying empathy and compassion toward the youth in the foster care system we serve. His dedication to our cause has left a lasting impact, and his contributions have been invaluable to our organization. With the help of our amazing volunteers, we are so excited to announce that this year, 2024, we are helping our One Million Children in Foster Care.
