Asking the right questions is essential to collecting the information you need to measure the success of your program. With these metrics, you gain data-driven answers that you can use internally to reshape your program and externally with funders.

In this certificate, you will learn how to develop a program Theory of Change to identify your evaluation strategy and clearly define your program’s outputs and outcomes. Establishing an evaluation plan using a Theory of Change will ensure you are collecting data in all the key areas needed to show funders your program’s impact on the problem your organizations is trying to address. Once you collect the right outputs and outcomes, nonprofits must be able to interpret this data and skillfully articulate the story with relevant information to the right stakeholders, which ultimately leads to winning more funding for the organization.
