Mary Ellen joined OneOC in May 2023 as a highly skilled Salesforce Developer, bringing a wealth of expertise in customizing and developing solutions within the Salesforce platform to meet the evolving needs of our organization. From day one, Mary Ellen has demonstrated a deep understanding of Salesforce’s capabilities and a strategic approach to improving business processes — making a meaningful impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of our internal operations.
Since joining the team, Mary Ellen has made remarkable strides in enhancing Salesforce functionality and streamlining automated business processes. Her proficiency with Salesforce tools such as Flows and triggers has allowed her to reduce manual work, improve data accuracy, and create more efficient workflows for the team. Flows, one of Salesforce’s most powerful automation tools, enables users to automate complex business processes by creating custom workflows, forms, and tasks without needing to write code. By leveraging Flows, Mary Ellen has successfully automated key operational tasks, freeing up valuable time for staff to focus on more strategic initiatives.
One of her most impactful projects has been the complete rebuilding of OneOC’s old logic from Process Builder and Workflows into Salesforce’s modern Flows framework. This transition required not only technical expertise but also a deep understanding of OneOC’s business needs and operational structure. Mary Ellen carefully assessed existing processes, identified opportunities for improvement, and designed streamlined solutions that enhanced functionality and reduced redundancies. In addition to enhancing backend operations, Mary Ellen has also improved communication and responsiveness across the organization by creating customized email alerts for staff.
