Colleen has been a dedicated and invaluable volunteer with OneOC since 2010, offering steadfast support to various departments and becoming a trusted resource for the organization. Her journey with OneOC began with membership services, where her strong organizational skills and keen eye for detail quickly became apparent. In 2012, recognizing her aptitude for data management and research, Colleen transitioned to providing essential database support — a role in which she has excelled and made a profound impact ever since.

Over the years, Colleen’s work has been instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of OneOC’s extensive data systems. Each year, she meticulously reviews over 9,700 accounts, ensuring that the information remains up to date and free of errors. Her attention to detail is unmatched — Colleen carefully identifies and resolves duplicates, corrects misspelled account names, updates addresses and phone numbers, and verifies nonprofit account information against trusted sources such as GuideStar and Charity Navigator. Her work also extends to addressing flagged accounts from the Franchise Tax Board and the Secretary of State, ensuring that all records comply with regulatory standards and are properly maintained.

Colleen’s expertise doesn’t stop at account maintenance — she also plays a crucial role in managing OneOC’s contact records. She oversees and streamlines over 23,000 contact records, working diligently to eliminate duplicates and ensure that each contact is accurately recorded and categorized. Her efforts have significantly improved data integrity and enhanced the efficiency of OneOC’s communication and outreach efforts.
