Brandon Nguyen-Simon Scholars
Brandon Nguyen is one of the most dedicated and inspiring members of our Volunteer Corps, contributing an impressive 200 hours of service to the Simon Scholars Program Community.
His unwavering commitment has been instrumental in key events such as the Leadership Symposium, College Tours, Fall Senior Retreat, College Success Winter Social, and Regional Dinners. As a past recipient of the Simon Scholars scholarship, Brandon serves as a role model and mentor to both high school and college scholars.
Many students see themselves in him, inspired by his journey and dedication to giving back. He volunteers selflessly, driven by gratitude for the opportunities the program has provided him. Brandon has played a pivotal role in leading college tours on the East Coast, guiding students through campuses like the University of Pennsylvania while skillfully providing historical insights—often walking backward to keep the group engaged! Additionally, he has supported regional dinners for college scholars at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), where he shares his college journey and provides valuable resources to students navigating higher education.
A CSUF graduate with a B.S. in Biology, Brandon is now focusing his career on laboratory work and is currently applying for a post-baccalaureate program in Clinical Laboratory Science. His dedication, leadership, and generosity continue to make a lasting impact on the Simon Scholars community. Thank you, Brandon, for your extraordinary commitment and for inspiring the next generation of scholars!
