Micki Smith-Simon Scholars
Micki Smith is one of our most dedicated and inspiring Volunteer Corps members, having contributed an impressive 176 hours of service to key events such as the Leadership Symposium, College Tours, and Fall Senior Retreat.
Her commitment goes far beyond event support—she actively mentors scholars, offering invaluable guidance and sharing her transformative journey as a Simon Scholar alumna. As a past recipient of our scholarship, Micki brings a unique perspective, helping current scholars navigate their paths.
Her journey through the program led her to complete her undergraduate studies at USC and pursue a successful career as a Certified Family and Marriage Therapist. Micki’s involvement extends across various initiatives—she has facilitated leadership workshops, supported college and career panels, and participated in our networking reception during the summer symposium.
No matter the size of the project, she consistently steps up, taking initiative and offering a helping hand wherever needed. Her presence is not only impactful but also deeply valued by our scholars. They eagerly anticipate seeing her at events, seek out her advice, and see themselves reflected in her story.
As they navigate the same journey she once took, Micki serves as a role model, demonstrating what is possible with dedication and perseverance. We are incredibly grateful for Micki’s selfless contributions and unwavering commitment to the Simon Scholars Program. She is a true example of the power of giving back, and we celebrate her ongoing efforts to uplift and inspire the next generation of Simon Scholars.
