Claudia Martinez-Human Options

Claudia Ramirez is an integral member of the Human Options Community Engagement Advisory Committee (CEAC), where she plays a pivotal role in supporting survivors of domestic violence through our Family Resource Centers. A dedicated and compassionate advocate, Claudia works closely with our Minnie Street Family Resource Center in Santa Ana, ensuring that survivors and their families receive the resources, guidance, and encouragement they need to rebuild their lives.

As a committed volunteer, Claudia is a vital link between Human Options and the Santa Ana community. Her deep understanding of local needs and her ability to connect with individuals facing hardship make her an invaluable asset. Our Family Resource Centers across Orange County provide essential services—including legal advocacy, counseling, safety planning, and parenting resources—and Claudia helps ensure that these services reach those who need them most. By keeping her “ear to the ground,” she identifies pressing concerns and works with our team to develop responsive solutions that empower survivors and strengthen families.

Beyond her work within the Family Resource Center, Claudia is a true leader among our CEAC volunteers. She actively extends our reach by participating in tabling events, community outreach efforts, and volunteer recruitment initiatives. Her ability to engage with diverse audiences, share our mission, and inspire others to get involved has significantly increased awareness and support for survivors of domestic violence.

Claudia’s dedication doesn’t stop at outreach—her warmth, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills allow her to directly assist individuals in crisis, offering them reassurance and practical solutions. Her advocacy work has not only brought in new volunteers but has also helped shape how we address domestic violence prevention and survivor support in Santa Ana.
