Von Roy

Mr. Von Roy has volunteered with Youth-on-the-Move, INC. Since 2014. He is a retired software Engineer and website developer. He has spent literally hundreds of hours on the YOMI and International Educators’ Websites – at completely no cost to our organization. He goes above and beyond the call of duty in teaching many of us computer knowledge and skills. He also encourages his son to volunteer from time to time with YOMI.

Honoree’s Name: Mack Ross

Why This Volunteer is Extraordinary:

Mack RossMack Ross began volunteering for Youth-on-the-Move in 2019. He wrote, created and produced Dream Big, the Theme Song and video which debuted at the Virtual 2020 International Educators Hall of Fame’s Global Award Event. The song was performed by Two-Time (2x) Olympic Gold Medalist, Ruthie Bolton. Mr. Ross has volunteered hundreds of hours to support the Youth-on-the-Move and its various programs and leader, Dr. Patricia Adelekan.

Linda Jaeckels

Linda Jaeckels has been volunteering for Youth-on-the-Move, Inc. since 2011. She volunteers as secretary, activities organizer, and contributor to our New Era Education Program (NEEP) which does Zoom educational activities over the internet since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis. Linda has volunteered over 600 hours since 2019, and goes far beyond call of duty. She is hardworking and friendly to all.

Mahita Adluri

Mahita is a founding member of NEEP (New Era in Education Program) which is a part of Youth On The Move. Our Organization helps youth to succeed in school, work and life in general. She never misses any of our weekly meetings and helps in coming up with new ideas. She loves nature, art and is passionate about our planet.

Ruthie Bolton

Ruthie Bolton is a Two-Time (2x) Olympic Gold Medal Winner and WNBA (The Women’s National Basketball Association) Hall of Famer. Since retiring from basketball 20-years ago, she has traveled the world as an in-demand Motivational Speaker and Coach. She has volunteered her wisdom, stories, and experiences with Youth-on-the-Move and the NEEP Program. She also was honored and volunteered to give a motivational speech, perform, and debut the song, Dream Big as a highlight of the 2020 Virtual International Educators Hall of Fame Global Event.

No amount of words can express the appreciation we at Youth-on-the-Move have for the time and talent Ms Bolton volunteered to make a difference – within the organization and world-wide.

Pastor James Burnell

Pastor James A. Burnell is a volunteer extraordinaire. He has been a volunteer with YOMI since 2013 and lends a moral and spiritual bent to our events, activities and classes. As Board member, is constantly brining in new volunteers and members. He volunteers for our NEEP (New Era Education Program) and for the International Educator’s Hall of Fame. Indeed, he is a great asset.

Amogh Adluri

Amogh is also a founding member of NEEP (New Era in Education Program). He is always punctual and finishes the work given to him. He is diligent and a very exceptional student. His work has been published in our newsletter. He helps in our many events with creating art. He is an avid cuber who routinely goes to competitions. He has his cubing channel called AAQBED.

Why This Volunteer is Extraordinary:

Beth Clayson

Beth Clayson joined Youth-on-the-Move, Inc. in 2017 as a volunteer student intern in the 11th grade; she “peer -tutored” several of our youths. She is the co-author of YOMI’s handbook A Teenager’s Handbook of Success. She says that the experience of co-writing the book was compelling and motivational, and it guided her to working harder to achieve success in her life.

Patricia Henry

Patricia Henry has been a volunteer with Youth-on-the-Move, INC. for 6 years. She is a retired U.S Airforce MSGT Veteran and a retired Social Worker MSW. She tutors, mentors and gives lectures to our youths, families and community members about parenting skills and other important topics. She recruited her granddaughter who is equally resourceful. Patricia is also a founding member and the First Secretary for our New Era Education Program (NEEP). She also volunteers for our signature and innovative award program, The International Educators’ Hall of Fame.

Kenneth Batiste

Mr. Kenneth Batiste has been a member of YOMI since 2019. He is a retired youth probation officer and constantly freely volunteers whenever called upon – for not only YOMI, but for various communities causes. We are indeed happy the he has decided to be Board member of Youth-on-the-Move, Inc and to sponsor his 12- year-old grand-daughter Samone to YOMI.

Samuel Vance

Mr. Samuel Vance has volunteered with YOMI since 2015; often he freely serves as an EMCEE, Public Relations Person and consultant to the International Educators’ Hall of Fame and other YOMI activities. Often, we would not know what to do without him and his positive “can do” attitude.

Mahender Adluri

Mahender is a board member who is a software engineer helping us with our IT and Accounting. He has been with our organization for 10 years. He makes presentations, videos and edits them for our famous yearly International Educators hall of fame awards. He also helps with reviewing and applying for grants. He is a great asset to our organization.

Samone Batiste

Samone Batiste has been a member of Youth-on-the-Move, Inc. for two years; she is 12 years old and is a founding member of the YOMI NEEP program. At many of our events (and for various community groups) Samone often volunteers her multi-lingual talents and recites the Pledge of Allegiance the US flag in both English and Chinese. She wins many awards and is very talented, kind and giving.

Ajitha Adluri

Ajitha is a volunteer and helps our Organization with our accounting. Responsible for Account Payables and Receivable and yearly tax returns. She also helps in applying for grants. She takes care of her family and makes sure her children contribute to the Youth on the Move NEEP (New Era in Education Program).

Al Wilson

Al Wilson has been a volunteer with Youth-on-the-move, Inc. for over thirty years. He is a YOMI Board Member, a retired U.S. Airforce, Chief Master Sergeant, E9, and a seasoned business man. His wisdom, business savvy, diverse local, state, national and international experiences and expertise make him a favored, popular, and respected senior Youth-on-the-Move, Inc. volunteer. We are very proud and happy to have him on our TEAM.
