Ann Marie came onto our Compassion team willing to deliver groceries to seniors who could not get out during the pandemic, but she quickly increased her commitment to not only making weekly deliveries but also hosting a monthly pantry in the center.

Angie was moved with compassion after her own history of being an at-risk youth and she brings this heart to every child and family she assists, constantly going above and beyond for them.
Each week Angie coordinates with us to make creative & unique art supply deliveries to her students’ homes, engaging them in a special way with their studies. She also coordinates food and other supplies when needed by the student’s family.

Deidra goes out of her way to serve. She first sought us out for volunteer jobs. Then she drove a significant distance from her home to come to our site & make deliveries to people who can’t leave their homes. She went on to help in our warehouse.

Karen is quietly consistent and reliable.

Becky is a humble, quiet leader with decades of experience in serving the poor. She brings wisdom and grace to every place where she serves. She is also part of a multiple generations serving in the community. She has volunteered up to 30 hours a week in our Compassion department before, during and since the pandemic.
Becky leads two of our pantries every week. On multiple occasions Becky has stepped in with grace, compassion & wisdom for individuals. She stays flexible & kind & doesn’t rush people through. She is there for the pantry guests and the volunteers.

William is known to be full of compassion & joy. He’s typically the one laughing the loudest, with the biggest smile & also the first one to cry with a person in pain. He’s incredibly loving and generous.

Gary has a heart of gold! Though he has been through a lot, he is always the first one to serve, help & carry whatever is needed.
Gary typically has to walk & take the bus to our warehouse where he serves regularly up to 30 hours a week doing manual labor–carrying, moving & lifting boxes so that others won’t have to. He is quiet but kind, thoughtful & humble in all he does.

Andrew moved his family to Orange County from Oregon because he felt like he was supposed to serve here during the pandemic. He has generously donated up to 10 hours a week to serve those in need.
