Carter Lee is a Junior at Sage Hill High School and has been an active volunteer with Think Together since he was in junior high and throughout his high school years. Carter volunteers at the Shalimar Learning Center in Costa Mesa, where he is a regular weekly volunteer offering homework help to students in the fourth to sixth grade. Carter has also created, designed, and taught curriculum to the students. Most recently he put together an architectural curriculum where he worked with students to teach them the basics of designing a room in a house, and then supported them with their room designs, providing exciting encouragement to the students to broaden their thoughts about possible careers in design. He has also taught Shalimar students how to build 3-D cardboard figures. Carter is currently working on additional curriculum to teach the Shalimar students this spring.
