Day 4 SVI Challenge “Take Action”

Emergency Volunteer Center Volunteers

Our Nonprofits are still on the front lines of this COVID-19 battle. Their success in winning this fight is dependent on people like yourself who can virtually or physically provide vital assistance. To support these activities, Orange County has activated the virtual Emergency Volunteer Center (EVC) managed by OneOC.

Spontaneous “nonaffiliated volunteers” are being requested to fulfill urgent needs at Grandmas House of Hope, HIS House and many more. Additionally, we are also PRE-REGISTERING Skills-Based Volunteers (individuals who are already trained & skilled in these areas) for future deployment in sectors such as Mental Health & Telehealth, Access & Functional Needs as well as Business Resiliency. Please know social distancing of 6 feet or more and personal protective measures are in place to prevent close contact.
